Indigotwin - This week's featured crafter

Indigotwin hails from small town Maine. We are Kirsten and Cortney,
identical twin sisters who have always enjoyed creating art together.
From crayon rubbings as small children to works of art as adults, we
have always given each other inspiration. We both graduated from
the University of Maine with Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in 1998
and love to create folk art! We both have small children and create
while our little ones are sleeping.

Sitting fee is waived, giving you a $200 savings! 3-5 days after your session you will be able to view your images on a password protected online gallery where you can place orders for prints.

Keeping up with Joshua and his friend Anya

What fun it was watching mom Sarah get Joshua into his first pair of Squeaker Shoes. We had to run after him to get these shots.... and I mean RUN. He took off and wouldn't stop squeaking. His friend Anya was watching overy him like a big sister. Anya's mom, Kelly snapped this beautiful photo for me. We hope they come visit again soon.

Happy Birthday Ivy!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a fun bunch of visitors at Matchaversibles today. Mom Heather stopped by with Ivy the "birthday girl" and her friends Cheyenne, Gabby, and Emily were heading to the bowling alley after they browsed all the fun stuff at our store and others at the Maine Heritage Village. Shown here is the birthday girl and friends in their Fairy Halo's, compliments of moi. Happy Birthday Ivy, hope you had a blast with your gal pals.

While on vacation last week the Steven's family stopped by Matchaversibles. I received these beautiful photo's and emial from mom, Megan. She tells me she has purchased a fuscia top to go under the outfit to change it up a bit and allow "Bella" to wear it through the year.

Adie - Squeaker Shoe photo of the week

As I mentioned in last nights blog, the new shipment of Squeaker Shoes arrived. I was unpacking today and before I could get them out of the box, they were being sold like hotcakes. Shown here is Adie in a beautiful light pink pair of size 4 Traditionals. Her mom, Jessica, ordered her 2 more pair, one brown and also the hippo shoe. She ordered them in a size 5 so she could wear them this winter. The new boy's baseball shoes were also a hit. The look on the children's faces when they hear that first "squeak" is priceless.

Wiscasset, Bath, Boothbay, Rockland, Camden, Brunswick............down to Portland and all over the U.S. kid's are loving their Squeaker Shoes. HAVE A CAMERA READY, because the first time the stand in these shoes is absolutely PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

Squeaker Shoes encourage walking in toddlers and are pediatrician recommened. They are as adorable and comfortable as they look.

Baby Addie, Daddy Josh (Mom - Hannah)

Addie's mom Hannah visited Matchaversibles during the week and the family made a trip back to the store to show off Addie's new outifit from the Burst collection (TF103). Mom Hannah, a crafter herself made the cap. The family resides in Waldoboro. I was so impressed with the craftsmanship of the cap, I've asked Hannah to create a few more to "match" some of the boy's outfits we've just created. I have 3 of the caps in the store (will upload photo's on tomorrow's blog). Sizes S (0-3 mths), M (6 - 9 mths) and L (9 - 12 mths). These hand crafted caps will retail for $20.00 each. Dad Josh was so patients today while the girls chit chatted and talked business. Thanks Josh!

Noodle Noggin - Matchaversibles Featured Crafter

LDH, owner of Noodle Noggin is our featured hand crafter this week. Lorraine crochet's a beautiful assortment of beanie's, summer kerchief's, flip flops, onesies and cloche's for the "noggin". Her sizes are for newborns up to size 5. Prices range from $15.00 - $32.00.

The new website will offer Noodle Noggin items for sale in the next 30 days. In the meantime, feel free to give me a call or send me an email for sizes, colors and pricing. These are hand crocheted with beautiful details on each and every item.

Boy's clothes & shoes

Lot's of new things going on at Matchaversibles. Since I've started offering customization of the new Cupcake collection, I decided to do the same with the boys things. Ages 6 mths - size 7. I have Creepers (not shown) and T-Rompers (shown above) in ages 6, 12, 18, 24 mths. T-Shirts sizes 6 mths - 7 years are highlighted with binding to match the shorts (or pants). You can choose from any of the colors shown for creepers, rompers or tees and also choose your fabric for the bottoms and binding. I'll add a baseball, football, soccer ball on the pockets or tee. Also, coming this weekend are the baseball and football shoes to "match". Available in sizes 3 - 8 (9 mths - 2 1/2 yrs). The kids love these shoes and the amazement on their faces the first time they take a step is priceless. I like to have the camera ready. (See other photo's of first time Squeaker walks below".
